CMD has been awarded a €1.5m fit-out contract for Ireland’s first PF Chang’s, which is due to launch in Dundrum Town Centre this summer.

The fit-out specialists will be responsible for the complete fit-out and specialist joinery of the new 5000 sq. ft Asian restaurant, which will be located in Ireland’s largest shopping centre at Dundrum.

Works will include fit-out of exquisite bar and restaurant areas, bespoke Asian style kitchens, installation of an exclusive Asian mural which is unique to this Dublin restaurant and the iconic ‘Chang Horse’ sculpture.

Niall Finnegan, Managing Director at CMD, commented:

We are honoured to be chosen as the main contractor for such a prestigious project and we are excited to be part of the team responsible for bringing PF Chang’s to Ireland.

Our talented workforce is committed to delivering a superior finish to ensure the new restaurant is delivered on time and within budget.

The project is due to take approximately 12 weeks to complete and it is hoped that PF Chang’s will open its doors in Ireland for the first time this summer.

The founders Farm to Wok food philosophy, uses the finest and freshest ingredients and a wholesome, scratch-cooking approach, making PF Chang’s a firm favourite for Asian food lovers.

John O’Hanlon, Managing Director at CMD, added:

We have no doubt that PF Chang’s will be a massive success here in Ireland and we relish the opportunity to fit-out such a unique bar and restaurant.

This project is one of many exciting contracts CMD will be involved in this year and we are looking forward to sharing the final results.
